ATHENA BILLIARDS slate
The Athena Olympus uses a 30mm natural blue-black slate, precision-machined and ground flat to a tolerance of under 0.1mm. Notably, the slate is fixed with 30 bolt holes instead of the usual 18, improving resistance to vibration and impact and ensuring an outstanding response throughout the table's life.

Corner castings: crafted from a flame-retardant material with an aluminium-alloy trim for optimal impact and scratch resistance. A seamless design with no ridges protects the balls and minimises scratches to billiard equipment on contact, while creating an elegant, modern look.
The pocket baskets are made from flexible TPE that effectively reduces friction and noise. A special T-shaped groove optimises operation and allows quick assembly, for a smoother, more precise game than ever.
Rails & Diamond Sights
- The Athena Olympus has brushed, polished metal diamond sights precisely placed along the rails.
- The rail tops use a laminate that resists cigarette burns, with a textured surface that minimises sweat and fingerprints.
- The rails are made from rubberwood treated against warping. Threaded inserts keep the rails firmly fixed to the slate after years of use and many re-clothings.
